We are hosting our very first overnight photography course with the wonderful Eva Nemeth on Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th November 2021.
Come and join us for what promises to be an inspirational dive into the world of garden photography.
Under Eva's expert tutelage you will maximise the potential of your DSLR camera and have the stunning setting of the Yorke Arms in Nidderdale as your playground.
Eva Nemeth is an internationally published photographer with a reputation amongst gardeners, designers and florists for having a unique ability to capture the magical essence of a garden and floral arrangements. Her work regularly features in House & Garden, Gardens Illustrated and Country Living magazines.

WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY ON OUR GARDEN PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE
During this workshop, you'll work alongside Eva to gain insight into her working methods. She will give each participant one-to-one time so that the day can be tailored to suit wherever you are on your photographic journey.
Eva starts the course by going through all the technicalities of getting the best out of your DSLR camera, including aperture, shutter speed, ISO. She'll discuss the equipment she uses and share her tips and tricks for creating stunning compositions.
Following the technical lecture you will enjoy the exceptional hospitality of the Yorke Arms, staying overnight in one of their sumptuous rooms to rise ready to capture the garden and enjoy more time and learning with Eva. You will explore the incredible garden and grounds of the Yorke Arms as well as come inside and experiment with flat lay composition, lighting and tips on editing.
WEDNESDAY 3rd NOVEMBER
4pm - Arrive for check in, get settled in your room and enjoy Eva's session on getting the best out of your DSLR camera
Dinner and overnight stay
THURSDAY 4th NOVEMBER
Start the day with a fabulous breakfast followed by an informative classroom session with Eva, then straight out into the garden to take photographs under her expert tutelage.
After lunch, tuition will continue indoors with time to experiment and explore flat-lay composition and editing. One-to-one time with Eva is all part of the experience, giving everyone chance to share and discuss their practice.
3pm - Depart
Single Occupancy - private room for one person and access to the course with Eva, dinner, breakfast and lunch with coffee, tea and refreshments throughout

Double Occupancy - one room for two people and both to access the photography course and full hospitality including dinner, breakfast and lunch. Twin or double room available.

Photographer and Guest Occupancy - one room for two but only ONE person to access the course, the other will enjoy the hospitality of the Yorke Arms and enjoy the area at their leisure. Dinner, breakfast and lunch for both guests. Twin or double room available.
