Our Creating All-year Colour in your gardening course will inspire you to make your garden ablaze with colour throughout the year.
The magnificent herbaceous borders and kitchen garden at The Northern School of Gardening are just the backdrop needed to inspire you to create all year colour in your garden.
Gain confidence and knowledge in creating planting borders with long seasonal interest by using structural plants, layering of planting, inter-planting of bulbs, pockets of annuals, all alongside a robust maintenance plan.
Be inspired as we demonstrate the craft of layering through the seasons to ensure you have all year colour in your garden. You will discover how to put empty spaces in your borders to good use, ensuring you have a gorgeous garden all year.
Our course is packed with growing techniques and advice on using plants to create stunning combinations. This engaging experience will give you a broad insight into grouping plants by colours for dynamic, changing seasonal effects.
