Terms and Conditions

Booking is essential.

If you have a query regarding your booking please call 01423 601009 or email events@thenorthernschoolofgardening.com

Tickets are non-refundable. The Northern School of Gardening reserves the right to cancel an event and in these circumstances will offer a credit note which can be redeemed against any course. We regret that the Northern School of Gardening is not liable for any associated expenses incurred due to a cancelled workshop.

All events will run subject to a minimum number of students. The decision as to whether the course goes ahead is made one week in advance of the event; therefore you are strongly advised to book before this time. Circumstances may require that event tutors change from those named at the time of booking. Provided a tutor of equal standing is secured, participants will not be notified in advance. Refunds will only be given in the unlikely event that a replacement tutor is unavailable.

General Exceptions to this policy: If a workshop is booked in error and the purchaser notifies the Northern School of Gardening within 48 hours of receiving the booking confirmation, then a refund can be offered, less a £5 admin fee.

Unless specified, the events are run specifically for adults.

Access: We are passionate about ensuring that our workshops are accessible to everybody. Please contact the events team on 01423 601009 or email events@thenorthernschoolofgardening.com if you have any specific needs or requirements.

Dogs: Dogs are allowed in the garden with prior, written permission.

Weather: Many of our courses include outdoor activities. Please ensure that you dress appropriately for the weather with suitable footwear.

Parking: Car parking is free.
